Oprah Is A Deceiver

...Because Oprah is Deceived

"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." II John 1:7

Are you one of the millions who follow Oprah Winfrey? One of the individuals who hang on her every word and watch her show religiously?

If so, then you should take a few minutes to watch this video...especially if you consider yourself a Christian.




What was the crux of Oprah's issue? Attendance at a church service decades ago where she heard that God was a jealous God. The idea that God would be jealous of her just astounded Oprah and didn't "feel right with her spirit." Well, no wonder. God is not jealous "of" man, God is jealous "for" man. Why would any person think so highly of themselves that they would believe God is jealous of them?

When the Scriptures say that God is jealous, they are speaking of Him being personally invested in protecting His own righteousness. In other words, He protects and sanctifies that which belongs to Him and does not take lightly the defilement of those things.

Can a failure to understand this one aspect of God's character really be to blame for Oprah abandoning the Christian faith? No. What we have seen in Oprah is the same that is seen in many others. Namely, people use any excuse to do what they really want to do anyway. Anyone who truly desires truth will seek it earnestly.

Do Oprah's beliefs matter? Is it okay to be a "fan" of Oprah Winfrey even though she denies Jesus Christ and teaches others that He is a liar? If Jesus is not who HE says He is - but who Oprah says He is - then that makes Him a liar.

"And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." I John 4:3

Know that everything she does is about promoting and undergirding her belief system. Oprah is considered a marketing force because of the large amount of power she has in shaping people's minds. Once Oprah endorses something, it sells like hotcakes...all she has to do is say the word.

What is she selling you?

"Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." Ephesians 5:6-11
